COURSE TOPICS An introduction to the inner workings of a cell, including but not restricted to membrane structure and function; the cell surface; cytoplasmic membranes; cytoskeleton and cell motility; the cell cycle; extracellular matrix and cell adhesion; programmed cell-death and cancer.
